Hi again! Today I’m here to talk about one of my favorite games ever, Silent Hill 2 and how it tells its story.  Introduction to Silent Hill Silent Hill 2 is a game that is part of a survival horror game series “Silent Hill” published by Konami and was developed by Team Silent . (They made Silent hill 1-4, everything after that I don’t consider to be a real Silent Hill game, just some hot garbage that has Silent Hills name slapped on them, thank you Tomm Hulett )   Story James Sunderland gets a letter from his deceased wife calling James to meet her back at their beloved place, Silent Hill . In his journey he meets different people that Silent Hill attracted there. One of them being Maria , who strangely resembles his dead wife. Perfect Blue So I went to the movies yesterday (18.9.2018) to see Perfect Blue , a japanese animated psychological horror movie directed by Satoshi Kon released in 1997, and damn was it an experience! I’ve seen couple other Satoshi Kons movies before seeing this one but nothing could have prepared me for for the ride that this movie is.     The previous films I saw were Paprika and Tokyo Godfathers (two amazing movies that I highly recommend to everyone) .  I don’t want to spoil the movie for anyone so I’ll try to write as vaguely as I can about it. Little about the plot The movie revolves around the main character Mima Kirigoe , a singer in a J-pop idol group called “CHAM!”, and her decision of leaving the idol group to pursue a career as an actress. Howdy!     ^ me ^   My name is Mikko Tanskanen. I’m a 25-year-old dude living in Tampere,  originally from Karkkila. (thank god I’m out of there) I spend most of my days drawing random doodles and  replaying my favorite albums on repeat until I can’t stand them. One of my biggest passions in life is video games. I have always played video games; from Commodore 64 to the Playstation 4.  One of my biggest problems when it comes to my gaming hobby is my steam library, I have almost 200 games in it and I have only played handful of them!
